The Ayo Salami-led presidential panel would submit its findings over the suspended acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu to President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, TIMELY POST can authoritatively report.

A source at the presidency and another close to the panel had disclosed.

Also, Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to the President, also confirmed this development in a telephone interview.

He reportedly said, “Yes I can confirm the panel would be submitting its report to the president on Friday.”

When grilled further, Shehu declined to react, He said, ” I can not comment on that sir, thank you.

Recall it was reported how the panel investigating Magu on allegations of corruption and insubordination requested an extension of time to submit its findings to the president.

The judicial panel, headed by Mr Salami, a former president of the appeal court, was supposed to have sent in its report in August – but it asked for more time to conclude its assignment.

This was after it failed to meet the presidential directive to submit its interim reports not later than 45 days starting “from its first public sitting”.
